IEEE Xplore is the wider platform for IEEE journals, conference papers, standards, books and more. HEC's 2026 contents list is a different measure: it records the items named in the subscribed collection, not every document searchable across the full IEEE Xplore platform. That list contains 53,581 records: 46,029 monograph records, 7,551 serial records and one other record. The separate Title List names 246 IEEE journals and magazines. Together, these lists show the platform's breadth and the specific content documented for HEC access. The monograph records include 40,530 proceedings and 5,499 standards. The serial records include 7,154 conference records and 397 journal records.
